PE stamp
A PE stamp is the seal of a licensed Professional Engineer certifying that a design meets structural or electrical code in a specific state. Many jurisdictions require one on a solar permit package. No software in this dataset produces a stamp automatically — every stamp is a human service.
A stamp is a licensed individual accepting professional liability. That is why it cannot be automated, and why racking vendors give away design tools but charge for stamped plan sets.

Why it matters
If a tool implies it produces stamped drawings, check what it actually delivers. The stamp is always a person.
