Reviews
Write a review
We publish only reviews we collect and verify ourselves. That is slower than aggregating someone else's, and it is the only version worth having.
Identity verification
No review is published without it. Any one of these works:
- A work email on your employer’s domain, confirmed by a one-time link.
- LinkedIn, where the company matches the employer you state.
- A screenshot of the product’s logged-in interface, with identifying data redacted — the route for people whose company uses free email, which is common among solo installers.
Anonymous submissions are read, and are never published as reviews.
What we ask
Structured questions, because structured answers are comparable and free text is not:
- Which product and plan, validated against the pricing we hold.
- Company size, role, country, market segment.
- How long you have used it, and how often.
- Job coverage — the category’s job list, scored one by one. This is what makes reviews feed the feature database rather than sitting beside it.
- What you used before, and why you switched.
- What nearly stopped you buying it.
- What does it genuinely not do? The most useful question we ask.
What we show
Every published review displays, without the reader having to click:
- the verification route used;
- your company-size band and role;
- how long you used the product;
- whether you found us, we invited you, or the vendor invited you;
- any incentive offered, and what it was.
A score appears only once a product carries eight verified reviews, and we show the distribution rather than a mean — a 4.6 from nine reviews and a 4.6 from nine hundred are different facts.
What we never do
- We never let a vendor remove a review. They get one published right of reply.
- We never mix third-party ratings into our score or our structured data.
- We never publish a review we cannot attach to a verified identity.
- We never sell placement, and reviews of the publisher’s own products can never affect a ranking, because those products are excluded from every ranking.
The review platform — identity checks, moderation queue, right-of-reply workflow — is specified and not yet built. Until it is, reviews are handled by email under the same rules. Saying so is more useful than a form that goes nowhere.
